Zone of Death: Washington Heights' 28-block-wide Zone has Claimed 11 Pedestrians over 3 years

The narrow area, bordered by 164th St. to the south, 192nd St. to the north and the Hudson and Harlem Rivers, holds the lethal distinction as the location of one of the worst clusters of pedestrian fatalities in Manhattan.

A 28-block-wide Corridor of Death along the east-west approaches to the George Washington Bridge in Washington Heights has claimed the lives of 11 pedestrians over three years, new federal data shows.

Our law firm represents innocent victims and their loved ones in these  types of car accident cases. We make sure all possible benefits and rights are afforded our clients. We hold those responsible for causing these horrific accidents accountable for their actions. We win large compensation awards and settlements for our injured clients.

More than being exceptional and effective lawyers, Morgan Levine is starting to take an active roll in trying to prevent these types of accidents from happening in the first place. We are starting a grass-roots movement to curb speeding on New York City streets. We have called upon the NYPD and the Mayor's office to issue a new set of priorities and guildelines in ticketing speeding vehicles in New York.

If you would like to help in this effort to push for a more effective way of slowing cars in New York and avoiding accidents like these, contact Jared Levine at Morgan Levine.
